Make the readings useful from day one

Set up the capacity reading before relying on it.

The monitor shows current, voltage, power, amp-hours, state of charge and a remaining-time estimate. During first use, check the current reading and enter the battery’s effective capacity, then follow the manual’s full-charge setup procedure.
One measuring point for the whole battery.

The shunt belongs in the battery’s negative circuit: B− on the battery side and P− on the charger/load side. All charge and discharge current must pass through it for complete measurement. Follow the model’s wiring diagram when planning the installation.
