Privacy Policy for Sentorise App
Version 1.0 | Effective Date: July 15, 2025
Guangzhou Sentorise New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Sentorise,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you use the Sentorise mobile application (the “App”) to connect to and manage your Sentorise Bluetooth-enabled lithium battery products.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy, and you agree to be bound by its terms. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
1. Information We Collect
We collect specific categories of information to enable the core functionalities of the Sentorise App and ensure a stable, secure user experience. The types of information we may collect include:
1.1 Device & System Information
We collect basic technical details to help ensure compatibility and performance, such as:
- Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, language settings, time zone, IP address, and network type
- App version, installation source, and installation timestamp
We do not collect any persistent hardware identifiers such as IMEI or Android ID unless required for debugging under explicit user authorization.
1.2 Battery & Product Data
When connected to a Sentorise Bluetooth-enabled battery, we collect essential product metrics to display performance data and support diagnostics, including:
- Battery serial number, model identifier, and firmware version
- Real-time performance data: voltage, current, state of charge (SOC), state of health (SOH), temperature, cycle count, and active protection status
- Bluetooth connection records, device pairing logs, and BMS diagnostic report
The serial number (SN code) of each battery is collected to uniquely identify the product, verify its authenticity, trace manufacturing batches, and facilitate warranty and after-sales service. This information is used strictly for device recognition and support purposes and is not linked to your identity unless you voluntarily register or report an issue.
1.3 Location Information
For Android users, the operating system requires location permissions to scan and connect via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- Only approximate (coarse) location is accessed solely to enable BLE scanning
- We do not collect, store, or track your precise GPS location at any time
1.4 Operational and Diagnostic Logs
To improve the App’s stability and performance, we may collect:
- App crash reports, connection error logs, timestamps of feature usage, and performance analytics
- These logs help us troubleshoot and optimize features without accessing personal content.
1.5 Optional Account Information
You may choose to register an account to access certain features (e.g., multi-device management). In that case, we may collect:
- Email address, encrypted password, and user nickname
- This information is used solely to authenticate your account and personalize your experience
1.6 App Usage Analytics (if enabled)
We may collect aggregated, anonymized usage data to better understand how users interact with the App, including:
- Frequency of feature usage (e.g., viewing battery status, accessing export functions)
- Duration of App sessions and general engagement patterns
- No personally identifiable data is collected unless you provide explicit consent
1.7 User Support Records
When you contact us through in-App support or email, we may collect:
- Support request history, message content, troubleshooting logs
- Any photos, screenshots, or error reports you voluntarily submit
- This data helps us provide efficient, personalized assistance and maintain a record of support interactions
1.8 Device Identifiers and App Instance IDs
To detect abnormal activity, prevent abuse, and perform technical diagnostics, we may collect:
- Anonymous device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA)
- App instance IDs used for crash analysis, A/B testing, and security reviews
- These identifiers do not directly reveal your identity and are used solely for technical and security purposes
2. Purpose of Data Collection
We process your information solely for the following lawful and legitimate purposes, in order to deliver core product functions, maintain service stability, and comply with applicable laws:
- Core Functionality: To establish and maintain a secure Bluetooth connection between your mobile device and Sentorise battery products.
- Performance Monitoring: To collect, display, and record real-time battery metrics such as voltage, current, and protection status.

- Customer Support and Service: To respond to user inquiries, provide personalized assistance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Product and App Improvement: To optimize hardware compatibility, enhance features, and improve user experience based on anonymized usage data and crash reports.
- Security and Abuse Prevention: To protect against unauthorized access, fraud, or misuse, and to maintain the integrity of our systems.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: To fulfill obligations under relevant laws, including product safety certifications, export compliance, and data protection regulations.
We do not use your personal information for any marketing, promotional, or third-party advertising purposes without your explicit and informed consent.
